December updates

This is a no title post, hence I shall just share with you my December favorites and what did I have done in this joyful month. First of all, December is one of my favorite month because it is always a long holiday and Christmas as well as New Year falls on this month! So let's jump to my sharing stories!

In the earlier of December, which was my last day of final exam, an Egyptian course mate invited us to have dinner at an Arabic restaurant in Kampung Baru named The castle.

Some of us finishes the final paper at 4.30pm and we left KDU around 6pm because of the guys gang wanna shower first. Yes, from Damansara to Kampung Baru at the traffic peak hour!!! Drove there spent like one and a half hour. 2 cars behind me left KDU around 7 so they reached there very late, we called them once therefore we knew that they gonna be late. We ordered our foods as soon as we knew they will be late and guess what my food was an hour late, only my food only come after they came, bad service tsk tsk. You need to pay RM5 for parking at the road side too! Well, I'm kinda unsatisfied the place as there were many people shisha overthere. Dishes was just so-so with a reasonable price. The only thing I like about the restaurant is their view is good, great location they have there. To sum up, not a nice place to dine.

On the 4th of December, me and my beloved family went to KLCC and we took some pictures with the huge Christmas tree at the outdoor.

2 days after, my mom decided to bring us to an internet viral Vietnamese restaurant as we all were craving for it. Vietnam Jie is located Taman Tun Perak, the same row as 老妈子猪肉粉.

The food is great, environment is relaxing and service is above average too. They served each diners a glass of lemongrass tea (refillable), and wait staff can speak in Chinese. Price were quite cheap I can say, we enjoyed our meal here.

Vietnamese baguette (real good)

On the Thursday of the same week, I did blood donation together with my primary friend but she could not donate as she needs a doctor document to proof that she does not inherit hepatitis B from her daddy. After all the procedures, we went to Levain for lunch, we both had the same chicken aglio olio pasta. The same old place, wonderful dining experience with different amazing company.

December 11, I went to the Big Bad Wolf book fair at The Mines with my family. Spent some time over there to treasure good books and bring them home. The books are really cheap but 98% are all out-dated, so I only get myself 4 books for total RM29.

was thinking bout taking pic with the lights but there were too many people walking around, I was shy

On the next Wednesday, I went to One Utama to celebrate my friend's birthday. We watched MOANA, the movie was great, inspiring people to find out who are them and follows their dream. Before the movie, we went to a Japanese restaurant as I'm looking for ramen hahaha, the ramen was so satisfying. Then, after the movie, we tried the ice-cream I was ought to try long time ago, llao llao (pronounce as yao yao). The offer was only until 7pm and we get to buy it at 6.55pm hahaha, lucky us.
me from other's view is still UGLY

Winter soltice we made soup dumplings with red beans inside and also went to both my father, mother side family to have dinner with them.

The next day, I had my girls day out to celebrate Jia Yi's birthday in advance. All of us meet up at a Indonesian restaurant, Dapur Jawa Klasik in Mahkota. The restaurant is quite dark inside but we underestimated the food, it was nice to be honest. RM80++ to feed 5 of us till full with drinks for each, price worthy huh.
must try - ayam bakar, satay ayam and nasi garik kari ayam

After that, we move to the next destination, DESK cafe for only tea, juice and coffee. Beautiful environment as we are the only table there and fantastic service.

Happy birthday Jia Yi, hope you like our presents!

Uncle invited us to go for a afternoon tea on the Christmas Eve. This is my third time experiencing high tea hahaha, RM55+ for a set and there was only two available. Each set comes with only 1 drink as the serving is for one person. Honestly saying, not really worthy for that much money.

decorations is cute

little variety to choose from

so chubby oh god

On the Christmas itself, we brought my grandparents to Noble House for a lunch buffet. It only available on every Sunday and RM59 per pax. The buffet starts from 11.30am to 2pm, eat all you can. Well, we do not have that much space to eat many, we left at 1pm, too full and could not get more. This lunch buffet probably one of my favorite buffet among all the others I have tried. Should give it a try! (I only realized that we all were busy eating that day, thus, we did not take any photo)

The next day, we have a boxing day dinner in my house. Cousins all came to eat, chit-chat, spent some quality time here. My another uncle bought a Italianese roasted piglet and a whole turkey which cost him around RM800++. We did a X'mas gift exchange too, sort of disappointing of my gift ahhaha.

Yeap, that my life in December. More posts coming soon, hope you enjoy reading!

"Time" for a change, a message for you, me and everybody else.

Ho Ho Ho, here comes to the end of 2016, Christmas is just around the corner and New Year is coming after it. Tick tock, tick tock, time passes too quick, people nowadays are hardly to catch up with the time, but, really? Try to think of what have you accomplished in this year? Did you achieve your goals that you set in the beginning of the year? Indeed, time flies but having time for someone is all about priorities. Time is squeezable. You can be complaining there is so less time for you or you do not have enough time to finish your work while the smart ones take advantages of the time to complete their tasks. Thus, stop complaining and start working on your dreams.

What kind of dreams do you have? Hoping that you can slim down few kilograms? Spend more time with your family? Earn more in terms of knowledge and money? Make the world a better place? DREAMS, people always said dreams are just dreams, it is kind of demotivating, so why not we change a perspective and say dreams can be turned into reality when you work hard? Trust me, work hard to beat the previous self not others. It is totally fine if you can't overtake those talented, even 1% improvement a day is good enough, one day your hard work will pay off and eventually defeat them.

"Wish we could turn back times, to the good old days", most of us would think the past are the glory, golden phrase that you will appreciate more if you can turn back the hands of time. Well, I don't 100% agree with the statement above. The past made us who we are, we learn from the past mistakes, and it is nice to reminisce. The past is absolutely something to remember, but why don't we enjoy the present, look forward to our future instead of dwelling in the past?

It seems like 24 hours a day is not enough. However, how do some people attain so much as all of us have the same amount of time in a day. The answer is simple, effective time management allows you to do more. Yes, organizing and planning is never easy for lazy people, 'no plan is the best plan' might be someone's motto. Change this attitude, manage your time wisely, work smarter, you can achieve objectives easier in shorter time. Here are some of the major tip, 1) always carry a schedule and record the activities/duties need to be done, 2) spend some time to think of how to finish the missions efficiently and effectively, 3) block our distractions such as social media, television, or others unless you use it as a tool to do stuffs.

I hope this helps to remind all of us that time is passing, stop wasting your time and get on the spirit to continue/start whatever you want to accomplish. Thanks for reading mate.
